Bentley was found tied to
a bench in the scorching August sun. He had severe untreated
skin allergies, a major ear infection and entropion eyelids
(eyelashes that grow inward) that would require surgery or he
would go blind. The Aspen fund helped this little pork chop
and now he has found a family to call his very own.
Snowball
came to us as a neglected owner surrender. He was matted to
the skin and his coat was stained yellow from dirt. He had “middle
ear disease” from mites that had infested his ear cannals so
badly. He underwent surgery to remove his ear cannals and was
adopted shorty thereafter by a wonderful woman who takes him
with her on vacations!
Bailey was found tied to
a tree on a cold November evening as a 16 week old puppy. He
was dehydrated and had a terrible case of mange. His tail was
crooked from being broken a number of times and he walked with
a limp. Bailey spent 5 months in a foster home until her was
well enough to find his adoptive family.
Staci
was found on the streets at five weeks old, in very poor health.
She had a virus in her left eye which caused it to swell to
the size of a large marble. This virus would have taken her
life if not treated. She was placed on intensive antibiotics.
for 5 weeks. They cured the virus, but the eye had to be removed.
She spent 3 months recuperating and was then adopted by a wonderful
family.
